Mathilde wins academy place at Munich Philharmonic

Mathilde won the audition for the orchestra academy of the Münchner Philharmoniker in November.

Since 1997, the MPhil has been training young musicians to become experienced orchestral musicians during an intense academy program. The students, selected by audition, are given the opportunity to play at least one project a month with the prestigious orchestra for 18 months. They are intensively coached by the regular musicians. Chamber music and audition training are also included.

Mathilde will be accompanied by solo harpist Teresa Zimmermann. She has been with the orchestra since 2014 and is one of Europe's most highly regarded orchestral harpists.
